Installation Methods for Chandeliers

 

1.Check the accessories At first, check if the accessories of chandelier is completed or not, in general the chandelier is made of ceiling base (that can be round, semi-round or square metal base, and it is the bridge between wall and lighting fixtures), hanging plate (that is installed above the ceiling base before it go out, and it is the bridge between ceiling base and wall) and back panel.

 

2.Drilling holes In general, the ceiling is made of cement and masonry, that can be fixed by pre-buried lifting hook, bolt, screw and expansion screw, and the bearing capacity of fixed nut would be matched with weight of chandeliers, then we can use electric tool to fix the expansion screw completely, then use the screw to install the hanging plate to the expansion screws, don’t screw it down tightly, we can screw two sides down at the same time to ensure the balance of hanging plate.

 

3.Install the light bulbs When installing the light bulbs, the wiring should be connected to the terminal of the center contact, and the neutral wire should be connected to the threaded terminal. The chandeliers have screw base, the phase line should be connected to the top of the lamp cap, and the neutral wire should be connected to the screw. At last turn on the chandelier and check if all the bulbs are lighted up or not.

 

4.Install the accessories Install the accessories according to the drawings, please be careful for the crystal chandeliers, and check if the crystal light is on, the lighting effect, if it has multi swiches, we have to check the connection or remote control in details.
