Installation Methods for Ceiling Lights

1.Choose the good position First confirm the installation height of ceiling lights, that can be installed in the middle, such as living room, dining room, kitchen, etc, then the light would be average, as to the bedroom, considering the influence of sleep from mosquito net and light, so the ceiling lights can’t be installed above the bed.

 

In addition to that, the ceiling light would be installed on the wall and ceiling in brick structure that could suffer much weight, try not to choose wooden wall in avoid of falling down.

 

2.Tear down the shade Tear the shade of ceiling light down, generally there are two fixed type for shade of ceiling lights, they are rotate type and buckle type, in order not to protect the ceiling light, we can take light bulb down after taking down the shade, that could avoid the breaking down the bulb.

 

3.Install the base Put the base in the preposition, then use the pencil to mark on the wall, and take the base away, use the electric tool to drill holes on the marked position, at the same time install the expansion screw in the hole to fix the base, the diameter of hole would be the same with the size of screw, at last put the base back to the preposition and fix it.

 

4.Connect the wire After finishing fixing the base, then we can connect the power line with wire holder of ceiling light, meanwhile, the two wire ends connected to the ceiling lamp power cord should have good electrical contact. They should be wrapped with black rubber tape and kept at a certain distance. If possible, do not put the two wire ends under the same piece of metal to avoid short circuit.

 

5.Install the shade and decorations After connecting the wires, you can try to power on. If everything is all right, you can turn off the power supply and install the shade of the ceiling light.
